You will get 1 hour tutorial on simman and you will not get to use the simman again after that. The mannequins are good, but the materials for procedures/skills stations are limited and often reused by many candidates. CS is ok but if you have other options, please research and choose wisely.

Hello. I gave my plab 2 very recently and I can definitely say that you don’t need to attend any of the academies to waste your time and money (around £600) as you have all the materials, notes, structures of cases, how to write prescriptions, how to work around simman, types of stations (which are coming very frequently now) and full blue print of the exam and many other students to practice nowadays are all available online for free on either WhatsApp groups or telegram or here on plab forum.
But the thing I would suggest is you take either Dr lovaans classes or Dr alaa’s classes online and listen and make notes of whatever they say with full concentration. Then you practice on daily basis with someone and just be natural in the main exam and then I think you are good to go.

I recently gave my exam. My advice to anyone appearing is that all academies have good or bad points. It’s more of a clerking exam and like every exam it has some tips and tricks. My advice is to pick something that would be least costly. Like taking Dr lovan and taking any academy with the cheapest academy package. Cause cases are same you have to follow patient concerns which from practice I know people who took lovan were in a good place. I took Mosohby the lectures were good but it is overall expensive. Why spend 550-600 pounds when you can get it done in 300 or 250. That is my take.

Common Station is utterly waste of time and money. People please beware and don’t invest your time and money on that academy. Trust me❤️

Anyone telling you Common Stations is a good academy and you are the one that determines whether you pass is a BLOODY LIAR. That person likely used a number of online masterclasses to make up, plus Moshohbys notes. Please avoid Common station like the plague. Mannequins are falling apart as we speak. The acdemy you go to makes all the difference. The sinman was not even touched by the students apart from one session with a psychotic woman who proceeded to scream at me during the Mocks. The men behind the glass are only interested in making sure they dont give you correct compensation. They are only interested in money. THAT IS ALL!!!

All academies nearly the same, and most doctors disappointed after attending most of them regardless the huge advertisement.
But we have to respect everyone.
Dr Hamid , although I do not like the sharing of links about him all the time, is the real source of most notes you use nowadays.
Aspire academy copied work of Dr Hamid,
Then Sobhi, who started without any notes, just re organize Aspire notes.
so , the real work is from Dr Hamid.
All respect for all of them anyway, but we have to be honest and give the entire fact , not just part of it

The subject being discussed here was Dr Hamed and his academy, their lack of support and the high fees he charges despite giving a low quality product. Dr Hamed is UNCONCERNED whether you pass or fail. I attended the academy and the experiences I gave were true. I was insulted by their mock examiner during the mock no less. It was until I threatened to walk out when she did a 360. His staff only cares about money. If anyone chooses to speak about other academies and their deficiencies…go ahead. Be brutally honest, people need to hear the truth. If you go to CS, you will waste money and time. His notes are voluminous and not available in an easy to read pdf file. Get ready to lug around the weight of the world when you get his materials. By the time you have spent money on him and his academy, you will have to borrow to go to the resoruces that can really help you. Why I say all this was because I too ignored the warnings I was given. Do so at your peril.

I won’t suggest Samson academy at this moment…i attened samson and found only one teacher impressive that was Dr.Alaa, so at this moment apart from manekins Samson academy i wont suggest not even for mocks…I will recommend Dr.Alaa

Plabguide Academy is no comparison against Dr Mo Academy. Without a doubt, go for Dr Mo Academy.
oh really, please can you tell me why? I liked Plab Academy because for 3 days each week they teach recent recalls with a tutor. Is this the same in mo sobhy?
Hence why the PLAB Guide is no comparison to any Academy, and I don’t support the idea of joining any Academy. Instead of teaching PLAB 2 candidates with the concepts and foundation, they rely on Recalls, which is subject to change. Additionally, those candidates and academy dependent on Recalls, will experience downfall when UKMLA comes into effect in May.
